What size dog ID tag should I choose?

Small dog ID tags are best for cats and small dogs such as Dachshunds and Terriers. Medium tags suit breeds like Staffies, Spaniels and Collies, while large tags are ideal for bigger dogs such as Labradors, Shepherds and Dobermans.

All of our personalised dog tags come in small, medium and large sizes designed to suit most pets. We can also custom make tags to any size if you need something specific.

 

Can dog tags be engraved on both sides?

Yes, all of our dog ID tags can be engraved on both the front and back.

Front and back engraving is included with every personalised tag. Simply enter your details in the fields provided when ordering.

 

Does engraving wear off dog tags?

No, our engraving does not wear off.

We engrave every dog ID tag extremely deep and back it with a lifetime engraving guarantee. Unlike surface marking, deep engraving will not fade or disappear over time.

 

Are metal dog tags durable?

Yes, our metal dog tags are highly durable and built for everyday use.

They are made from thick solid metals that can handle rough play, outdoor use and chewing without bending or breaking.

 

What materials are dog tags made from?

Our dog ID tags are made from solid brass, copper and nickel silver. We also offer stainless steel and titanium options on selected designs.

 

Can I create a custom dog tag design?

Yes, we specialise in custom engraved dog tags.

You can send us your own design, logo or idea and we will help turn it into a finished engraved tag.

 

What does lifetime engraving guarantee mean?

We engrave every design and every letter/number so deeply that the engraving cannot wear out under normal use. If the engraving on your tag ever becomes unreadable due to normal wear, we'll replace it free of charge.

Please note that normal wear does not include dirt, mud or debris that may build up inside the engraving over time. In most cases, the engraving simply needs a thorough clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush to restore its clarity.

We've handcrafted more than 50,000 tags and have never had to replace one because the engraving wore away. That's how confident we are in the quality and depth of our engraving.
